How quickly can you begin working after we place the order for MDS Completion?

Once you provide us with access to the Electronic Medical Record our ability to begin completing MDS Assessments will be within 24-48 hours of receiving access.

How long has your company been completing MDS Assessments for Skilled Nursing Facilities?

We began completing MDS Assessments in 2006. Initially, they were being completed by our founder.  Once her service gained in popularity, it was necessary for her to train others to assist her with MDS Completion.  The company was incorporated with employees in 2008.

Is your staff comprised of Independent Contractors or Employees?

100% of our nurses that complete MDS Assessments are employees.  They all go through our in-house training program before they begin working with our clients.  This training program is required regardless of what credentials they come to our company with.  Additionally, we have a Compliance officer that is required to complete random internal staff audits on all of our staff regardless of how long they have worked for us.

If we hired a MDS Coordinator to take over the position of MDS Completion would your company provide them with training or auditing to perform the duties to ensure that I have chosen the “right” candidate?

Yes.  MDS Consultants provides 1:1 remote training with new employees that are interested in becoming a MDS Coordinator.  We can train the new MDS Coordinator and decrease our MDS Completion time in accordance with their increase in speed and efficiency over time.  If you would like more information, please reach out to us by phone at: 585-318-4030.

If we wanted to have an audit on the person(s) who are working in the MDS Office on-site, is this a service you provide?

Yes, we provide MDS Data Integrity Audits.  We suggest that 2 MDS Data Integrity Audits should be completed initially to see if the individual working on MDS Completion needs further training.  This audit provides a non-mds professional with clear information to help them understand if their staff member is on the right track or requires more training.

Does MDS Consultants provide MDS 3.0 Certification Training?
